I think the West boss was the hardest to tackle first. I definitely recommend revisiting the game and traversing another area first (East is probably easiest, but toss up with North) because it’s so tonally magical I would hate for you to miss out.

Thank you for specifying EDT and not EST, by which you have saved everyone from confusion forever.
Ethan, your opening paragraph pronouns are ambiguous. It’s unclear until the third sentence that you’re talking about E3 in the second. The first makes me expect the opposite. Otherwise, this was really informative. I don’t want you losing readers at the outset.
You also might want to look into the mechanical keyboard community, e.g. Reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards. There are lots of dedicated function pads you can build or buy pre-assembled that you could position on whichever side of your keyboard you want. :)
Do you have to purchase the game to be able to play it? I might pay $25 to rent a AAA game with a 15ish hour campaign close to launch. That’s just about the only use case I can imagine, though.
I remember justifying buying the NES edition Gameboy SP by Nintendo saying the DS wasn’t going to be a replacement for the Gameboy line. I may have been a not smart kid. I may have fabricated that memory. But I kind of hope that Nintendo downplays the 3DS and consolidates around the Switch, pushing its portable…
I thought it was a joke!
I think $40 is pretty standard for smaller-run board games. It’s easy to find similar items going up into the $70-100 range. Small volume board games with custom components and printing are inevitably going to be more expensive than mass-production equivalents like “Sorry!” due to economies of scale.

Good on you for eating crow. :)
Hey Kirk,
From what I’ve read, it seems the players as a collective unit are doing okay under the current system. They have established value, a minimum salary from Riot, and have generally been increasing in value across most of the spectrum. More than the individual players, it seems like owners and investors are really…
I saw the 2009 exhibit and even dragged along a few friends who were wholly unfamiliar with Gundam. All three of us enjoyed the experience, and I highly encourage anyone on the fence to go see it while it’s accessible.
I agree, though I would also say that what followed was a thorough and engaging unpacking of both the game and the ethos surrounding it.
I believe it’s specifically seeing your own nose, which your brain naturally tunes out of our vision but is quite present, that was found to reduce motion sickness in VR. It probably has most to do with its static and immobile connection to your head and vision. I’m merely postulating based on intuition and a few…
Is it meant for palm or claw grip? How big are your hands? Can you [not at all/almost/full on] palm a regulation sized basketball? Thanks!

In case anyone is interested, here’s a link to a spoiler-free VOD page for all of the already played games:
I know you’re being snarky and I understand your sentiment, but I don’t see anything wrong with fully evaluating something and then deciding it came up lacking. One doesn’t have to leave a movie early to conclude it was bad. Neither does one need to extend a dinner with peers or spend the rest of a night hungry to…
Beware if you watch Explorers - the movie devolves into complete nonsense due to budget cuts about halfway through. It is an experience you should have between zero and one times in your life.
From my experience it takes lots of practice. I'm finally doing it okay on NG+, and still not that consistently.
I think Glitch City had an open house on Thursday of E3 week. I'd guess it was showcased there, though I missed the event myself.
