Ah, I took march as a verb...
Ah right, I thought you meant you were waiting for it to be confirmed, my bad. I've always held ff Monster Hunter (and Pokemon, for that matter) because I know that once I start, they will consume my life
I thought Nintendo had announced that MH3:U was being released for both 3DS and Wii U in March in the US?
The only reason for them to possibly put it on hold would be if they're gonna wait and release it on the next-gen consoles - and the more I think about it, the more that line of reasoning makes perfect sense.
Ditto
That's true - but if you scrap a game, you say as much publicly (especially a game as talked-about as Versus) whereas SE have been keeping the Versus dream alive with various little tidbits of info here and there. None of it makes any sense to me.
That would make sense, given the main niggle with the first game was the camera (something which the Vita's second stick should fix right away). Between Gravity Rush and Persona 4 Golden, I was resigned to getting a Vita eventually, so that's no problem for me.
We can but live in hope :'(
And don't get me started on Type-0/Agito XIII - seriously super-duper-pissed off that they haven't got their asses together and released that yet :/
Yeah I can definitely see the logic there. I just can't see why SE would choose to scrap a game that their paying fans are so passionate about and desperate to play.
SE have confirmed that assets from Versus XIII have been used in Lightning Returns. I hope you're not right, but I get the feeling you might be...
This is probably outside of the control of Kitase and Toriyama, but I'll ask it anyway:
Just read it, looks like you're right, and it's worse than I thought - what kicks me the most is that the character DLC is random, so even if you were prepared to pay for a character, you wouldn't necessarily get the character you wanted first time round...
Seriously?? I was taken to believe that 'faceless' characters were included as standard, and the DLC characters were from numbered titles (Eg. Cloud, Lightning, Cecil, etc.)
I was skeptical at first, but it does seem like god fun. My problem is the IAP - if I'm expected to pay a couple f pounds for the game, and then fork out extra for actual FF characters and additional maps, I might just have to pass...
If you ignore the story (which was quite weak imo) the actual gameplay itself is really good.
That thing has a major latency issue, on top of the fact that it's a completely pointless gimmick.
Agreed. And replay value or no replay value, I've played through it 3 times and enjoyed every second! :D
Type-0 > Shitty iOS games
Or Type-0... :'(
