I have FFIV on both DS and PSP (as part of the 'Complete Collection') and having played both, I thought the DS version was better. I'm still glad I have the PSP game though, because it allowed me to play The After Years without paying over the odds for each section of the game on WiiWare.

Scanslated for me - I have no money right now, and any that I do get goes into my 'new iPod Touch fund' (my old one doesn't work unless it's plugged into the wall) :/

'Darker' sounds good to me - the reason I've avoided Bleach is that I got a very kiddie 'Power Rangers' kinda vibe from it if you know what I mean :/ Might have a look at the Naruto manga though, thanks for cluing me up :)

This is more of a 'please-give-your-opinion-on-{insert theory]' than a question, but here goes:

What influences the amount/strength/type of marketing a game gets? Because in the past, I've seen examples of both rubbish games with shitloads of PR behind them, and absolute gems which get next to nothing in terms of marketing...

I don't know if you've played Infinity Blade, but what you've just described sounds like a very simplified version of that with a Batman re-skin - I think I'd rather spend my iTunes vouchers on something else. And I still have a 3rd Gen iPod Touch, so apps crash constantly for me :/

I'd never heard of The Punisher beyond the PS2 game of the same name, but I would love to see the people behind this make a feature-length. Good special effects, well-written, convincing action sequences. Great film.

Is Fez available on PC? Cos I really want to play it, but I've been told it's only on XBLA :(

Would love to know how that is - looks great, but also looks like a blatant Infinity Blade rip-off...

It all depends on the gameplay - some games (Eg. Angry Birds/Cut The Rope/Helsing's Fire) benefit from the immediacy and tactility of touch controls. Some don't of course, but we have consoles and dedicated handhelds for those games.

Because a select few are. Square Enix's output, while pricey, is of a very high standard. The Chaos Rings games wouldn't be out of place on a traditional console, such is the strength of their gameplay and graphics. This can also be said of FF Tactics and FFI/II/III which were ported from the PSP (and FFIII from the

Another exception is the N.O.V.A series, which is also very good.

Yepp - poor AI is standard for a Gameloft game unfortunately :/

I also believe such a thing is limited to PS1 games and a lesser selection of iOS's game offerings... (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm going off what my friend who owns one has told me)

Gameloft games = Look great. Play terribly.

Thank you very much! :)

All comes down to opinion, I guess. For example, I think Tatsunoko Vs Capcom (when played with a Classic Controller Pro) is better than SSF4. Twilight Princess was enjoyable for me - haven't played Skyward Sword yet, but from what I've heard I might agree with you on that.

As if I forgot that! Just to add to what I said, this game was described by reviewers as 'the revival that the Resident Evil franchise needed' (or words to that effect, I can't remember exactly) and you can only play it on the 3DS. There are no games on the Vita that have garnered that kind of praise as of yet...

As it stands, Smash Bros. > PS All-Stars for me

Not trolling (I know how much a large chunk of gamers bum off Skyrim) but the Elder Scrolls games just don't appeal to me at all...
