Holy shit I also played this game once (came free in a bundle I think), finished the game by crushing the AI’s (who I assume were on easy), and had 0 interest in ever playing it again. It was a civ game simplified to the point of emptiness. 

I was prepared for the number 1, I knew what it was, and what it was going to show. But seeing it again…it’s just so much worse than what I remembered.

I’m calm for the first 10 seconds, then I’m rolling for my life. I tend to have to watch a video on how the boss fights work, my brain is in full flight mode in the moment lol.

Lovely work. The key, along with memorizing any given bosses pattern is to stay calm which he’s clearly doing. I think we tend to get into a habit of trying to roll constantly and it just fucks you up. You can feel his calm/”only roll when necessary” approach and it’s awesome. Much harder to do in real life. 

Agreed. Torrent is the best video game horse. I can pick up stuff while mounted (fuck you Red Dead Redemption 2), I don’t get dismounted if I get hit in combat (fuck you Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla), he’s fast (unlimited sprint outside of combat), agile (can turn on a dime), double-jumps in a very satisfying…

As soon as I got it, I was instantly using it most of the time. Combat is often better/safer on it. You can platform more easily. You can blaze past enemies to explore safely. It’s just god mode.

Best in-game horse, hands down.

I originally started off not using it that much, but the world really does require a mount. After 60ish hours I can’t see myself without it.  I will however be referring to him as Goat Legs from now on.

The problem with that is that a Switch has a completely different library, and a lot of PC gamers have hundreds of different PC games that they’ve already paid for.
