I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume that China is not only reporting 0.5% of deaths, however much higher the real number actually is. Taiwan has fewer than 900 deaths, Korea 9000, Japan 25,000.

I assume they’re lying too of course. Thing is though, they would have to be covering up 99.5% of their deaths to reach our number, from a population more than three times ours, and I don’t know how plausible that is.
