The Jaguar XJ220 made 542 hp from a 3.5 litre TTV6 in 1992 - so how far have we actually come in 23 years?

Are those Porsche 928 headlights hiding under there? Never noticed that before... And in pairing with those Camaro sidemarkers - classy.
The 602-engine in this 2CV made more like 32 horsepower, which is a lot. Well, a lot more than 12, anyway...
But, but, but ... does the Accord make the music of a flat 12 when given the beans? No! So stay away with your logic and common sense.
Too complex to become mainstream? So the BX, Xantia and C5, sold in millions and millions of copies, are not mainstream cars bought and driven every day by regular people?
So, it's a $200,000+ S-class with tinted windows, extra legroom some tweeters and the wheels from a 2001 CL 600. Günther, dein pipe sind gestüfft mit schnitzels und sauerkraut.
First time I've heard anything on a 2CV described as 'powerful' - let alone the brakes. Unassisted inboard drums for every car, then!
Not a V8, this is a 944 Turbo-engine. Still awesome as shizballs, since that engine is putting out 220hp minimum in stock form (and that does not look stock).
You are almost correct - kupplung means clutch, but it was more a "holy shiznit that is quite a word"-post.
EINSCHEIBENTROCKENKUPPLUNG!
At $170.000, is the broom-stick included? Wouldn't want to look stupid checking my oil at the pumps...
Isn't making it back down a certainty when flying? You know, with gravity and all...
1979 - those were the days...
Also well used in late 80's movies.
The ol' 928 sounds pretty good too, once you chuck all of the stock exhaust in the bin.
But with this engine, instead of the lethargic lump that is the 3.2L, it would be lighter and less nose-heavy in the corners. Hell, with the 4wd, it might come close to a 50/50 weight distribution. Could be the italian Impreza, a modern Delta Integrale.
Look at those tiiiiiiny wheels. It looks like a BMW 850i on those 15" caster-wheels.
What is this? Water spray?
I think it comes with wheels. I don't see the problem? :)
A 944 is half the fun and all the pain of a 928 ;)
