You’re lucky then.
You’re lucky then.
I pointed out a few places - it’s because Cox has a monopoly. I was pretty much in the same boat as you, stuck on Cox because of the way they bundled, it was always cheaper for me to stick to Cox for internet+cable.
Mm not sure its about having to pay for services - piracy is actually at an all time low, and shows that what advocates have been saying all the time is true - people pirate more because they don’t have the option to purchase what they want, in the way they want - not just to get content for free. I.e. companies…
Instead you want to juggle 100 channels to find something to watch?
The math doesn’t work out if you’re stuck with a monopoly cable company (i.e. comcast) that games their pricing so you are forced to get both Cable + internet from them. (i.e. they know you’re stuck with them for internet, so while their internet should only cost $30 to provide, and they know you can get Directvnow…
I think the tipping point comes when you have both internet + streaming options available. I too had a legacy deal that was great, and no current offerings could beat it. And it was, as some people mentioned, like $5-10 more than just paying for internet. But the point is, it’s not that tv is cheaper through them -…
Umm yea, the whole article is about Hulu having this feature (though it got timing wrong as you pointed out) why I thought no need to point it out. But the article said Netflix doesn’t have this feature, which was wrong.
Yes, it’s basically that, the airlines have only assigned enough space between two people for one person to sit in comfort in some scenarios (in most scenarios, where the person behind is not unusually tall, both people can sit in comfort). If the person behind is unusually tall, the person sitting in front has the…
So if tall men have more right to have space for free than elderly women?
There’s an option to remove shows from your netflix history btw.
I love rides. That said, I recognize some people just don’t enjoy them (and some, not from being “scared” but if someone suffers from motion sickness, it makes them physically ill).
In this case, it seems like it was in lieu of paying $25,000 a month alimony probably from the article. In which case, $25,000 a month vs. one of probably many many guitars, she probably just thought she got a really good deal. 10 years is a good rule of thumb for alimony (though it can potentially be forever, and…
I don’t think keeping your name is being “picky and making a mountain out of a molehill?”It’s just...well...noone affirmatively changing anything?
Did you just pick the most unsympathetic tweets for this article or are they all like that? Like someone legitimately crying about struggling to finish a final (like Starbucks is at fault for that) and has to work on an empty stomach apparently because she has no ability to provide for herself nutritionally if one…
There is some effect where people pretending to have allergies or intolerances tend to have a “boy who cried wolf” effect, leading to food providers being less careful and eventually causing increased danger for those who really do have allergies or intolerances. The trend of people “faking” allergies also doesn’t…
Mm, well even if they’re all frozen, there’s still a shelf-life, and a lot higher costs of holding a frozen sandwich in a freezer if it has to be kept there for say 3 months, while everything else gets sold in a week or two.
Yea, that’s difficult. Maybe an anonymous note to HR if its a company that size? But, it’s tough I know.
Yea, I think in California at least, we have mandatory anti-discrimination trainings for all companies over a certain size. Some might scoff, but I think it is actually very beneficial to help a lot of people recognize unconscious discrimination, and I hope it spreads and becomes a requirement everywhere.
Probably not one in the form of a pre-made sandwich, with out adversely affecting quality (and requiring the expensive addition of freezers to every Starbucks, which, otherwise I think are fine just with mini-fridges).
Yea, that’s really sexist.
