Which is great, assuming they are not so un-selfaware, they gripe about the temperature/time/price of something they picked themselves.

Fine, “an” important safety feature.
Either way, that puts accurately gauging speed as a skill a track driver level would have - so still shows HUDs are useful for the 99.9% of drivers they are designed for.
Just a note, but I think it was really “Generation X” that killed off the bar soap (I remember only ever getting liquid soap as a kid, and basically only seeing liquid soap in stores - i.e. when Generation X were in their prime mid-20s to 40s. Nowadays, I see the whole “french-milled” fancy bar soap come back, and…
I think that’s probably their plan, but it takes time to switch over designs, secure chip production etc. (usually these supply contracts are locked up like more than a year in advance). Hence they need to close up shop and burn through cash until they figure out their new supply chains.
Ah ok, looks like they’re good the in the short run. Their statement makes sense then - they never said they were shutting down, just that they would be burning through stored cash until they work things out. So they probably have to stop production and there’ll be a 6 month or year long or w/e gap while they line up…

Foxconn and Mediatek are actually both Taiwanese, and I bet Taiwan is just as likely or more to enforce the same bans. Besides which Foxconn just assembles parts, they don’t make chips. I think Huawei’s Kirin might be the only Chinese manufacturer of processors, and even then that doesn’t include things like the…
Mercedes also has a camera that only flips out when in use. (It’s in logo on coupes I think, and just below the lid otherwise.
That’s because you’re using a U.S. credit card in those countries. Anyone from those countries, using a locally issued credit card (or from any of the other countries using pin-based credit cards do indeed use pins).
Zombie post here, but on “avoiding zoos, aquariums”, I get that zoos and aquariums are not great for the actual animals or fish in them. But on a global basis, they also help out by exposing people to animals and fish which in turn inspires conservation and well biologists like you.
As others have mentioned, it’s not likely that this article or knowing of the carbon imprint is going to make me, or most people, decide to go biking in my local park for christmas instead of going to Paris.
I find more issue with “destroyed her phones” being in the headline, and not “beating her up”. And “destroyed her phones” ahead of throwing a dog across the room. Breaking personal property should definitely rank below both of them.
They are assholes regardless, but sounds like the server is at least somewhat at fault if she took that long to deliver the check - for that situation to arise, it sounds like they asked her for the check and she forgot to get it - leading them to wait for 15-20 minutes.
In the OP’s post it does sound like the fault was squarely on the server, if the reason the guests left was because she took too long to get the check (that, of any other task, is solely on her).
There’s a lot of deepcleaning that you probably don’t get to by yourself, but the gunk builds up, and it really becomes like a 4-5 hour chore once a month. (i.e. you could probably do light mopping/vacuuming, wiping down countertops etc. in an hour a day, but actually scrubbing behind the toilet, between gaps, etc. is…
Yep I agree, with Kcunning, security cameras in a home should be fine, and not expected to take them down. Plenty of work places have security cameras, like at convenience stores, shops etc. They’re not intended to spy on workers, and neither are home security cameras.
That’s actually a great life hack! (though , Ihave fewer old phones now that smartphones are actually worth a decent amount of coin to trade in)
The Feds don’t and can’t seize your phones and other property from your attorney based on absolutely nothing - there are a lot of safeguards in place - and you’d bet, if there was any chance that the warrant to do so was not backed up by very convincing evidence, using one to search a lawyer, representing the…
The quoted attorney listed”plenty” of above-board-purposes, but in terms of likelihood - they are pretty low.
