The wide spaces are likely to be used as a form of ventilation and given that there are that many server farms running and airflow goes upwards, I doubt anyone would want to stay there for too long when the heat needs to esclate upwards too

I’m not clear about installation fees/administration fees in the US for Google Fibre but I would definitely prefer paying a monthly rate of $50/$70 instead of an upfront cost of $300 installation for a meagre 5Mbps IF there isn’t any other hidden fees to go with it.
