Even more reasons:
-Sitting still in an EV means no energy draw, while with an ICE you need to be able to stop/start the engine hundreds of times per trip to save the same fuel (and starting a massive diesel probably has its own energy costs)
-Better low-speed acceleration from an EV
-Regenerative braking when you come

Garbage and mail/parcel delivery trucks are prime EV candidates. Short-ish routes that take a long time, and spend all night in a controlled lot so they can recharge at the reduced overnight utility rates... match made in heaven.

It’s like the opposite of BMW in terms of prick location. Usually a Cactus is filled with juice, and Germans and juice don't always get along, for obvious reasons.
