Is it the idea of having people watch their thing instead of other networks’ things? it may not “matter” how many people watch GOT, but if they can drag down the numbers of other stations, that would give them some clout in some arena?

I wonder if this means that like, the first five will focus on individuals/groups in the same location and bring that story to an almost-resolution and then the very last episode will cap everything together. That would be interesting.

It was literally my first thought on seeing the headline — Why ham, seriously? But then, imagine the outrage if she brought PB&J...!! Quelle horreur!

I think, as usual, HBO has convinced us to give more weight to a line/scene than it will deserve in context. Jon probably just intro’ed Dany to Sansa as the queen of Westeros, to whom he has bent the knee. I imagine if we go back, Ned or Cat said something similar to Robert/Cercei in the pilot.
