Yeah, the last one wasn’t that long ago, so I’m not sure what this one thinks it’s adding to the canon. Shrug.

I know it’s like, cool around here to rag on the writers and editors, but JEEZUM CROW we already had the Gigi-toilet thing in a dirt bag, I think it was like, the lead item? And it was a huge kerfluffle in the comments. Are there literally no editors at the site anymore who keep track of what has already been covered?

Thank you! Interesting context!

I really really really wanted someone to do “the Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia,” but I never get what I want. POUT.

It’s also pretty tame for a Westwood... It’s lovely, in fact; not a word often used to describe the work of that house.

Is there where we complain about “pivot to video”? Because I’m guessing that a healthy population of the readership is, like me, reading at work. And I’m guessing that videos aren’t really compatible with “I’m totally doing email and work things, 100% working over here, no need to check on me.” Can we pivot away from

It’s the Duchys that get me, actually. THAT’s where the finances get murky, where this family has “stuff” they shouldn’t necessarily have and certainly didn’t earn. The revenue from managing those lands should go to the public coffers for public good, not the Charles to pay for Will and Harry and their families to

I’d love to see that... got a link?

This.... really got out of hand.

Bobby, This was so beautiful and I love you. <3

He never actually wanted to become President; I honestly don’t know if he even wanted to win the nomination. Russia never expected him to become President. Russia already has him over the knee on financial grounds and probably other things (not saying there IS a pee tape, but there ARE definitely more women). So

Thanks for writing back! I think you hit on the central point at the end there, that we are often so much wiser and self-protective as adults, but I can still feel the intense insecurity that fueled friendships like this one that I had when I was younger. Like I said earlier, these characters may not be reflective of

Ahem, best known as Ursula Blake, former member of LINDA, current sentient piece of concrete

Language nerd here, but wouldn’t this be more accurately called “hangover parenting”or “hungover parenting” and thus it would eliminate the confusion about whether it’s about hang overs caused by parenting?

The intense, widespread dedication of the international female readership who loved and deeply identified with these characters disagrees with you

Please keep going and read at least book 2.

I kind of took this article as being a little bit in jest.... right?

Yeah, female friendships can be fucking exhausting. It’s something that has never been truly explored on the page before, and that’s why this series is so beloved by those of us who have been there. Not every work of art will speak to the experience of every person. That doesn’t make the art not believable.

It was such a disappointment of a movie, tbh. I was so intrigued by Alicia Vikander in that robot movie... and I loved Henry Cavill when he was on The Tudors... and I figured Armie was the unknown for me. But they all just .... ugh, no energy, no pizazz. no charisma anywhere. :(
