The only thing that has ever made me scared about this show is the notion that they didn’t know from Day One that we were going to spend time on Earth. If you didn’t know that, I’m supposed to just believe you know the end game, SHUR???

Yeah those are just regular Halloween Oreos. In fact, I think the success of oreos with orange colored creme is what led us to the current hellscape of oreo flavors and colors. If only we knew then what we know now. 

The whole “every woman (+ Capn Jack) who meets the Doctor is in love with him” trope is the root of a lot of problems until Capaldi came in.

You were obviously thinking of Snakes on a Plane, because I read it as Dinosaurs on a Plane and understood immediately you meant Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. 

But it does explain well the sort of general premise of it all, timey-wimey, etc. It’s sort of like the episodes intro’ing a new companion, that way. 

Did anyone else feel that this review, especially the opening, was written by someone trying to approximate Oliver’s own verbal delivery? The sentences.... they are long, and complicated, and basically, too much. Oliver carries it off, this, not.

So get out and volunteer your time, donate money and support candidates in contested elections. Voting is literally the least you can do as an engaged citizen. 

The first Doctor Who episode I watched was The God Complex, home sick and channel surfing. I immediately binged the rest of the season. It surprised me that it was willing to ask big questions, and I liked Matt Smith. I like Capaldi, and Eccleston. Tennant always annoyed me, and I’m thrilled to bits to see Whittaker.

Queen Mum doesn’t come off too good in the Crown, I have to say. Provincial and small minded. Ah, well, I’m sure that will all ease up as we progress into the 1970s and 1980s :) 

What I would like to see is side by side comparisons of revenue for MMoore films and Dinesh DSouza films.

First of all, no, all potential witnesses have not denied it or said they don’t remember. As TR4-250 says, Kavanaugh is not on trial. The standard of “innocent until proven guilty” is for criminal cases where you face penalty of jail. He is not facing penalty of jail; he is facing the potential of not getting a cushy…

The end here — Try not to be a shithead, because the trying is the LEAST you owe other people — is the core of why I love The Good Place. It’s a funny, absurd, gorgeous, visual story being told all around and hiding this message in plain sight.

I’m supposed to visit my father this coming weekend. I know without a doubt that there is some stuff like this in his past. I don’t know if I’ll be able to hold it together if this comes up and he says anything like “it’s just guy stuff” or whatever bullshit they say. I honestly think I might slap him across the face.
