THIS is 100% why I cannot wait for it to become legal everywhere. I would love to reach that level of chill without the complications of wine. 

And here I was thinking , this show does a wonderful job of not making them stereotypes. I’m Italian and if you swapped out the specific food on the table, that would have been my family. I thought that was kind of the point.

It’s also a clearly made point the morning after Midge is arrested... there’s a call-back to her earlier rosey-eyed view of downtown, all the same people sitting on stoops, etc, except what looked glamorous and Beat and avant garde at 11 pm looks dirty, mean and sad at 8 am

I went by myself yesterday afternoon and had a grand ole time, though I wished i had like-minded company as the rest of the theater didn’t quite “get it” and I was the crazy lady laughing alone. 

If that’s Gigi Hadid next to Bella in the photos here, that is not a good makeup look for her. She looks jaundiced. 

We would not be able to handle the beauty of it. 

She wasn’t just any woman, she was a woman spreading the idea that women don’t have to be pleasing to men to be worthy of respect and human dignity.
