quailman you seem a bit touchy about a joke.

Lots of science (not necessarily this one) doesn't have a specific application in mind. The science is done to "simply" gain knowledge. That is, we want to know how/why fish suddenly (or not so suddenly) sprouted legs starting the colonization of the land.

As with anything that involves people all those things can be discussed but given time many of those views and ideas can change. Real relationships evolve and change and it's good to be aware of it. That's not to say that you must be happy about it necessarily but just prepare yourself for the possibility that people

Really? That's interesting. Where I'm from they have different sized nozzles. You can't get a diesel nozzle into your gasoline car. You can get a gas nozzle into a diesel car though so I can see that happening. But I guess if you're filling from a can or something that could happen, rather than at a gas station.

So you're saying if you use twitter's website you're using it wrong?

Think about this: one day—and this will happen soon—NASA will discover life in other planets.

What's his being richer got to do with anything exactly?

Yes, NYC is not like any other place. When I lived there, I saw a lot of famous people that did their own shopping who can't go out of the house in California without being mobbed. When I first moved there I kept track of the famous people but it got tedious because so many were out and about just living their lives.

"They are ruining the franchise by using it for trivial bullshit."

I'm not sure I understand the question. It wasn't allowed to be caught. As far as I understand it the US doesn't want them captured. It's like asking how have the US military allowed their soldiers to be killed when at war. They don't allow it per se, it's a consequence of sending it/them into hostile territory. Or

I don't think thinking of nothing is actually possible. Hook it up to a dead person or even that sculpture and you'd have a better idea what nothing looks like.

"Game Center" wasn't trademarked but the game centre icon used by apple and isn't at all controversial anymore than the apple icon with the bite out of it is trademarked by Apple. I don't know of anyone else that uses that particular icon for anything.

They'll charge you for that bandwidth to send it to you or stream it, though.
