Dementia and Alzheimer’s is horrendous. I am sorry that she and her family has to endure this for a time. At 88, she has lived a long life.

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU! You made me all teary eyed. Truly. I am sitting in my childhood bedroom right now as she is lying in bed watching game shows, because she has trouble following much else.  Your support came at a perfect moment. Thank you. :)

Aww, that is sad news. I remember reading that her late husband also had Alzheimer’s and when he was institutionalized, he struck up a relationship with another woman in the facility. SDO used to visit him and his new girlfriend would always be there too.  He had no idea who SDO was.  It must have been heartbreaking…

It truly is absolutely horrible.  My brother and I are my mother’s sole caretakers because we cannot afford assisted living/ home healthcare.  I have a front row seat to it every single day and I can assure you, it is the worst.  I second your love and support to the O’Connors.

Regardless of ones political leanings, dying from dementia is hard hard thing for someone and their family to go through. I wish her a peaceful passing

Its either a male manager who literally has no clue what sort of stress the human body is under during pregnancy, or a female manager who hates other women, particularly those who are able to get pregnant - at least, that’d be my guess.
