Hi other ex-mormons turned atheist, I'm part of the crew too. There are more of us out there and on Jezebel) than I realized!

At home sick and generally having a crappy run-up to Thanksgiving (won't lie, I was laying in bed generally feeling sorry for myself...), but this made my day. I totally want to be besties with this guy too. He has the best smile and I was almost crying when the ball fell off the ceiling.

I agree that Capitol Colors nail polish is stupid, and that beauty products based on this series are weird and creepy. But, that said, "agro" and "smoke and ashes" are two of my favorite polishes. I didn't buy them for the tie-in, I just really like the colors.

I thought I was the only one who suffered from this syndrome in customs lines.

I completely understand, it takes a really strong person to do that. A friend of mine fosters/trains seeing eye dogs, and it's always heart-breaking to say goodbye when it's time for them to go to their real home. Even though it's obviously for good.

That's so awful. I'm so glad they were found and are in good shape. Just can't believe looking at that little face that someone would put them in a dumpster. I live in a college town and ours showed up stray on our street the week school let out. Somebody moved away and just dumped her. She was so timid when we

That face is just heart-melting. My favorite time of day is evening snuggles on the couch with my pooped-out pup.

Oh the pink tongue! Mine sleeps like that too.

Oh my goodness, she could! There are a fair number of them out there. Where I live every other dog we see out being walked looks like a potential cousin to ours, and I have a soft spot for every one. Yours definitely looks to be in on the same gene pool too.

That is one contented looking pup! Totally adorable.

I'm a sucker for spotted noses too.

Hazel must be a cutie to have earned rescue dog model status! I had no idea there was a Rocket Dog Rescue group, but it's kind of funny because we've nick-named our (rescue) dog "rocket dog" since she circles the yard at warp-speed like a maniac (she even has her own theme song that we sing along to Elton John's

Ours was supposed to be temporary too, but she was irresistible! The sock was the recent artwork of our very creative veterinarian: she stepped on a thorn and had to have it pulled out :-(.

Your dog is ridiculously cute!!! We have a beloved pit bull mix too and your picture & the video make me wish we'd been able to see her as a pup. She showed up at our house when she was about two so we missed it, but I imagine it was a lot like these little guys. This is what she looks like now:
