This, 100%. And I’ll never understand why “hatedoms” for certain things exist, either, where people just constantly feel the need to express how much they don’t like something and tear other people down for liking it. Like, it’s not affecting you at all. Just watch/play/etc. something else and let other people have

“Objectively speaking, that’s a guilty pleasure”

“I love tons of media that I know isn’t ‘good’.”

Just out of curiosity, can you describe in what way Black Panther is “truly good” while Bohemian Rhapsody is “mediocre at best”? I get that it’s subjective, but I’d put Bohemian Rhapsody above it. And if any superhero movie deserved a best picture nomination this year, it was Into the Spider-Verse.

“Something like Spider-Verse would have gotten thumbs down and two stars twenty years ago.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if I was actually better at it as a kid than I would be now. I remember being able to win the whole game in probably twenty-something minutes, but I’m sure if I played it now, I’d probably have a hard time getting through World 8.

Wasn’t there a rumor at some point that it might actually be an anthology series? I could have sworn that I’d seen that somewhere.

84% on RottenTomatoes means that 84% of critics have given it positive reviews. “C” can count as positive or negative depending on the critic (in the AV Club’s case here, it counted as negative). The average *rating* on RottenTomatoes is only 6.93/10, with 6.23/10 from top critics. Sounds like a “C” average (or worse)

Do any of the exploits to use a browser still work? I remember seeing something about there technically being one even though it’s not really supposed to be available.

Maybe they just have some kind of blanket prohibition on altering programs in general? I don’t really have experience with that kind of thing, though, so I don’t know if that’s actually a possibility or not.

I love this song! And this part of the movie in general. And the movie in general. ;)

What were the other two Mulaney musical parodies?

They’re claiming that they’re still doing it because they started before the glitch was fixed and never logged off. I assume it isn’t possible to keep doing it anymore.

I mean, “basic logic” would allow for the possibility that the distributor could offer multiple versions to Netflix and let them choose which one to license... They could be wrong, but you definitely wouldn’t have to be a “moron” to think that could happen. And in response to some of your other comments, you haven’t

It’s still possible that the distributor could own the rights to multiple versions. It would amount to essentially the same issue regardless of who’s picking which version gets put up.

That deal is over now.

It’s already been renewed for a second season.

It’s really not that bad of a show. I’ll never understand why hatedoms for things like this exist. Why expend so much energy just getting mad that other people like something that you don’t? (Or in a lot of cases - not necessarily this one specifically - something to which you haven’t even given a chance.)

I don’t mind the fact that people might technically have played different versions of a game or whatever. The real problem with patches is that future players will be unable to play any patched version of the game at all because the servers will inevitably shut down at some point.

Did they ever have that feature in the first place? I could have sworn it was always steaming-only. That was why I never bought anything.
