Yeah. There's a difference between 'this wasn't a good episode' and 'this was not exactly the episode that I, personally, wanted it to be', and some reviewers seem to have trouble telling the difference between the two. It doesn't have to exactly match the story on the inside of your head to be good television.

Arya used a face last season to kill Meryn Trant, if I'm remembering correctly – it's the event that led to her being blinded.

Breaking through the gates when they've just retreated, are low on men
and haven't had time to organise themselves is not the same as breaking a
siege when the walls are fully manned, and also they've got the boiling
oil to hand.

"Joe, would you like to make your final tribal council speech to the jury?"

Probst is probably pretty in favour of Joe quitting challenges if it minimises the risk of them killing another player this season.

I'm sure Peter is convinced that Liz's boot was all down to his nemesis Neal, and now that Neal is on the other tribe Joe and Aubry are just a pair of lost sheep looking for a new leader. If only he could be that man…

Everyone is, of course, entitled to their opinion.

I think it's wise to start planting the idea in peoples' heads, to give them time to get used to it.

When I was watching, I assumed that Abi was in the water because they were prioritising paddling and keeping the men on that. They probably underestimated the weight of those crates though.

Stephen suggested on twitter that that was indeed the case with the split vote – but the goal was not to prevent him/Spencer flipping, but Savage and Joe.

Because of RHaP.

Most of the challenges he's struggled in have involved hand-eye coordination. We haven't seen yet how he'll fare in a 'swim to this thing, then do a puzzle'-type challenge.

I think part of the problem is that he doesn't care. He knows he's never going to be able to compete with the alpha guys, so his main priority is just not to drag them down in team challenges. If the jury is judging on physical ability there's no way he can win, so he's going to focus on trying to make sure the jury

I want to go out drinking with Stephen so bad. We can have a poetry recite-off.

That's not his self-image, it's Savage's projected self-image of him.

Secret scene: Keith hijacks the to-to and drives off into the sunset with it, whilst producers scream frantically into walkie-talkies and try to entice him back with promises of another ball-based immunity challenge.

Remember that immunity challenge back in All-Stars that was a giant wordsearch?

Stephen seemed to be implying on twitter the bootlist said it was him this week, is that right?

Tasha looked pretty worried about it as well. Was Jeremy not concerned? I don't remember.

It's working for Probst, at least.
