When I moved into a new city recently, they provided me with a large recycling “cart” free of charge and multiple pieces mail correspondence were exchanged in the setup process, but I never received a single written description of what is or is not recyclable, FAQs, etc. The village website has a broken link to a pdf

I try to combat this by telegraphing the fact that I am not crossing the street with my body language and am in fact turning the a different way (even though I am), which works pretty well except in the case where they are about to turn right and now think they need to wait for me to cross that street, except now they

I can basically see it now. Zack Morris as a principal while a group of similar kids go his high school. Meanwhile, the rest of the original cast rotate in (with flimsy justifications for why they are there) to tell someone that they know how they feel, they were once like them. Plus one of the kids is gay but

It always sounds wrong to me when used as an adjective versus an adverb, but I’m from the midwest.  Can anyone provide clarification whether its just me?

How is this not a fancy (and expensive) rhythm method?

The thing that puzzles me is that the Bears were ostensibly avoiding “setting a precedent” for this language, but supposedly 4 teams already agreed to it so I don’t see that it would be that significant.

Here’s what my brain decided. Who is associated with Obama? Who did he kill?

I would bet there is some kind of animus-related hand waving to explain it (“whoops, their memories got mixed together.  Just experience them as whichever avatar you feel like”), which is fine by me.

If you do buy a whole bunch, they ripen faster attached than loose, so I try to extend my window of edibility by keeping them together when I want them to ripen more, than separating them when they start to reach the right point.

If I wanted to watch bologna deflections I’d turn on CSPAN.

“People idolize NFL coaches and owners more than players” is an extremely hot take.

Yeah, with interest that $500 could have been $510

IMO, this analysis should only apply if your team is winning. If your team is losing you need to account for the fact that seeing them come back from a large deficit is exponentially more exciting than a regular game.

Doesn’t the fact that he characterized the culture as iffy imply that he did not approve of the iffy things that were happening?  So getting rid of him actually makes things worse?

Why foment anger at Jeff Bezos instead of pushing for workers’ rights legislation?

I use my Switch mostly for quick gaming sessions and while traveling, and 3 or 4 high quality games per year keeps me going for that, especially considering the amount of hours one can put into Zelda BoTW.

I hated it when almost every Assassin’s Creed game ended with you chasing someone through burning buildings and one little mistake and you’re done. Very different from the rest of the gameplay, not very fun, and not even really challenging aside from forcing you to find the right path through time-consuming trial and

I subscribe to the “you can’t win if you don’t play” philosophy.  If you leave because it would take a miracle to come back you will never witness a miracle comeback.

I’ve noticed many people believe it is OK for NFL teams to use whatever leverage they have to force players to do what they want in order to maximize profits, but it isn’t OK for the players to use whatever leverage they have in order send a message they believe will help people who desire justice.

This article is straightforward enough for the reader to draw their own conclusions without any alarmism so I’m not criticizing it, but with over 2,000 stores this doesn’t seem that damning to me (Not to say that working a low wage job in America today isn’t inherently terrible).
