The alloy is entirely new and designed for Starship. Who here knows the mechanical properties of that alloy? It isn’t the stainless steel any of you know.

If they were using standard stainless you would be correct. Everyone seems to be missing that this is an entirely new alloy developed for the Starship. Throw all of your “stainless steel” preconceptions out.

The minimal key would be fantastic!

As BMW will tell you, that larger and larger grill means the vehicle is even MORE aerodynamic and allows even MORE cooling for the massive increase in power. Using that logic, the 2060 will be invisibile to the wind while producing about 1,800 HP.

Complaining about the touchscreen I understand. “The center console is a complicated mess” seems silly. There isn’t anything strange or new in the buttons or arrangement of them and I would MUCH rather have physical buttons than a touch screen or the smooth “buttons” of some other vehicles.

Is anyone else offended by the marketing of this thing: “..that position it as more progressive, athletic, and emotional...

How sad is it that the Government thinks we are incapable of learning to drive with the screens in one car and not in the other.... “He doesn’t want drivers to depend on displays and forget how to drive vehicles without cameras.”

And there undoubtedly are many better ways. The likely reason for this arrangement is obvious: they are selling it in the Japanese market and nowhere else. It is far too expensive to create a second design for such a limited market.

A Jaguar was one of the first options which came to my mind. I know a LOT of people consider them unreliable but I wonder if that is carry-over from the well-earned reputation of years gone or if it is based upon issues with current models. Anyone know how the new models are holding up or if there is reason to believe

    Two key points:
