Ford is responding to the economic incentives created by the US Government. If Washington didn’t support foreign producers with very favorable profit repatriation and currency exchange schemes, those small cars could be competitively produced in USA.

The all look like sunburned alcoholics.

Americans should be upset that foreign companies can build smaller cars in use while US carmakers can’t.

Europe has gotten what it deserves. It has embraced the moronic strategy of open borders, and is now convulsing through the inevitable results. As with USA, Britain benefits from physical exclusion...and a tad more horse sense.

I don’t think any of us walk in to an auto dealer expecting to find sophisticated, reticent, or intellectual employees.
