Yeah that’s ridiculous obviously, were you able to pursue it further with them? I know Uber has a pretty low tolerance for poor reviews, that should be an instant termination. They should be able to look up those GPS logs and be like, oh yeah he never even stopped.
I’m OK with that policy, provided of course that the driver legitimately makes an effort to contact the customer. There must be occasional cases where people order food then something happens that prevents delivery - they’re drunk and passed out, they got an urgent call and left the house, whatever.
