@KingKellogg the Waffle Haggler:

@smithy cat:

Actually, I've heard more people talking about Ashley surviving than Kaidan.

That would be AWESOME!

Same, except I've never played more than 3 minutes as MaleShep.

Agreed. GIVE.

Rent ME1. Play it. If you like it (and I feel fairly certain you will), buy it (it's pretty affordable nowadays). Then rent ME2, and play that. If you like that (see above), buy it, and the DLC.

Nice save, sir.

Blame the director for that, not the VA.

I was going to use MaleShep as my eventual Renegade playthrough, but I'm not sure I'll ever get around to doing a second character, renegade, male, or otherwise.

Sorry, but Mark Meer can't hold a candle to Jennifer Hale.

Yes, you must. The story and gameplay (aside from the wonky physics with the Mako vehicle in ME1) are excellent; Hale's voice work is just the (very delicious) icing on the cake.

Han Solo was born in 29 BBY, so he's 10 years older than Leia.

"And speaking of "he", it's a shame to see Male Shepard leading the public relations front for the third time running. OK, so most people play as the male, but Jennifer Hale's voice work is so damn good it'd be nice to see Femshep get a little promo art love as well."

Yup. She was 19 in "A New Hope".

They're probably talking about the original Japanese version. When DIC did the English dub, they butchered the story all to hell. Find an uncut, subtitled version if you want to rewatch it.

Spiffy. But definitely not Prey.

The Instructables article gives a basic rundown of how it was done, but very clearly says DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF, and that the person in question had it done by a professional body modification artist.

You must have missed the article yesterday (not Kotaku, but IIRC it was somewhere on Gawker) about the guy who injects ink into his eyeballs.

$80? For just the game? Or is that for one of the instrument bundles?
