I think in his private replies to emails he probably has been more professional. But Im not sure what his expectation was when he posted that mock conversation. Laughs at the Conversation? Laughs at the cosplayer asking? Not sure if he completely thought through his actions when he posted that.

If he wanted, he could even have done a FAQ

Exactly. Just a “we’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about this so let me post some FAQ about our con” and keep it simple. Then you’re done.

I think he has the right idea, just the wrong words. And I think people are just trying to point him out on some of it.

Interestingly, Roland’s old design looks a hell of a lot like Axton from the second game, and Lilith’s old design reminds me of Commandant Steele, the lead villain of the first game. Nice to see some recycling going on.

There’s really only two reasons that something should appear before a game starts:
