You're right, it's about 300mil for both projects. Less than what was originally estimated.

It's *not* anything like the new Falcons stadium. There is no hotel motel tax in Cobb county that was earmarked for this stadium , I believe this is just coming out of the general coffers. The amount of money being paid by Cobb County taxpayers is much more than the City of Atlanta is paying for the Falcons stadium…
I dunno... I'm also a big braves fan who has been to plenty of games at the Ted/Fulton County. It'd be nice to get a drink or some food before the games and to go out and keep drinking after if I wanted to. I used to go to that KFC outside the stadium, but then it shut down and now it's a wasteland out there before…
600 yard? We had to do a mile...

"If I see some guy I'm gonna throw a piece of pizzer at him"
A lot of people ripping on him for this.. but I actually feel like that's the real player's perspective. It's like the hitter who explains his hitting strategy as "see the ball, hit the ball". It's more realistic and down to earth than a lot of the commentary you hear on TV.
I mean a single without a close play... like the ball is in the outfield or in the shortstop's pocket.
This ball was way closer to third than it was to second. For most shortstops, that's a single.
Not to say that it's okay, but this particular song is popular in lots of places, specifically the military and rugby teams. They didn't make it up. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_S&M_M…
"Smugly answering the press corps' questions—well, not answering so much as giving a response that reframed the conversation more to his liking—he always be having a ball, knowing full well that everyone in the room thought they could nail him, even though he was confident he could out-think them all. "
Wow.. in the same thread erastus25 used "conceit" where "concede" was the correct word, and rasmusbach used "conceded" where "conceited" was the right word.
I agree. Not only that, but notice as they swarm him he does not react violently at all, yet one of the cops deems it necessary to repeatedly take swings at his head (0:53). I don't understand how that is okay.
Last year there were a number of times the game had to be delayed because a goalpost dunk bent the post over and they had to fix it.
Missed the chance for the headline: "Debose Defenestrated"
This is one hell of a reach (as are most comments in this thread) based on one performance. He has had hundreds of other performances that were pretty damn good.
My comment was more about the way I played NBA 2k than about when the rule was added. I figure they just didn't bother coding that into the game and just DQed you.
I feel like this rule didn't exist in NBA 2k when I would foul out the whole team and then get disqualified.
I mean the other package. The one on the right.
