I usually tell people that it’s unfortunate but race is mostly dictated by what others identify you as based on features and skin color. There are people that pass as multiple races such as middle eastern people, but you also see the hell they go through to prove that they aren’t Muslim just because they’re middle

Some of it has to do with choice. Meaning, if a trans person wanted to, they could remain their born gender, and go on with their life. Or, if a gay person wanted to remain in the closet, they could. They wouldn’t be true to themselves, but they could “pass” and potentially escape some of the (additional)

I have a question here. The other day I was talking with someone about transgender issues (this person wasn’t super supportive - seeing it as one person’s “craziness” that they are trying to pull others into participating in). As I was disagreeing, she compared it to Rachel Dolezal. That if you accept that gender is a
