Ooo it's crispy..

I do think Enterprise is the worst it ever got, but you're right that the series was already dying and Enterprise simply failed to save it.

Which is kinda full circle - a validation of the original pilot's paint job, which was also very black and grey NASA looking (as their budget would allow) with much more subdued uniforms. Before they realized, "hey, color TV! WOOWWW!" The final look is basically the early color TV version of when early 3D films always

Jesus, what is it with Ricks?

Thor: I'll never talk!

He was head thug in the original Ninja Turtles.

Yeah, except Rapunzel's fate is important too. It keeps the stakes honest, and it's critical to the witch's arc, which in turn catalyzes Your Fault and Last Midnight. Who will take the main characters to task for their actions if the witch isn't angry, and what has she got to be angry about if Rapunzel doesn't die? I

My takeaway is more… if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. If he'd stuck his foot down, they could easily just do it without him, and that would be worse. Reminds me of Ridley Scott joining the "director's cut" of Alien. To this day he prefers the original, but did the re-edit anyway because it was better than letting

Having recently been introduced to the show in the form of being in it, I feel your pain. "…and perhaps a sticky bun. Or four…"

Should've gotten Marc Blucas, but Linda Cardellini's Velma forgives all.

It actually doesn't take much. You're allowed one harvest while still getting the good ending. Two or more and you get the bad ending. All of them, and you get the same bad ending with the v/o read in a slightly angrier voice.

Course, nowadays he just goes by Mr. Boy.

I can see him in the booth, doing his Galaxy Quest squint as he reads his lines.

Add 33-year-old me to the pile of defenders. We all get you don't agree, but your constant, feckless condescension is not giving your own maturity a good showing here.

I have it! It's in my closet right now! Of course, I haven't owned a functioning VCR in at least 5 years, but I loved that game too much to throw it out.

WHO DAT TURTLE?

Good thoughts, except my exact problem with the episode is that Pierce's death DIDN'T shake things up. It didn't end ambiguously because Pierce interfered - it ended ambiguously because that's how Zodiac and a bunch of other crime dramas end. I would have liked this episode better if Pierce's death really had derailed

That whole boardroom scene is gold, but Dubbed Japanese Guy is my favorite.

Also missing - and the true predecessor to the Indian Love Call gag - is "Puberty Love" from Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Bonus points because even the sheet music is deadly.
