More just excruciatingly dull than actually painful to listen to, but the theme tunes to Iron Fist and The Man in the High Castle are either barriers to watching or accurate musical preludes to overlong nonsense, depending on your view of the shows.

+1 for Firefly and The Sopranos. The Wire also had a couple of sucky

I remember enjoying Thirteenth Floor – perhaps more than I enjoyed Dark City, and a hell of a lot more than I enjoyed The Matrix, which is overrated AF – and was surprised to learn that it was totally shat on by critics.

I’ll join you both on this wall, that film is a straight turd.

Minority Report also has a terrible ending, and I suspect that the theory that it pulls a Brazil/Total Recall-style trick is simply wishful thinking.

Speaking of Tom Cruise films, there is no way that Edge of Tomorrow is better than Inception.

Blue has some classics (Horse Doctor Man, Cold Water, Happy Snakes, and Needles for Teeth all stand up with older material) but it’s the least essential for sure. Shot is up there with Goat and Liar as JL’s best, imho.

I imagine that Squamate is more likely someone who knows about Dresden and Churchill’s career-long xenophobia. He was a bigoted war criminal, and we could really do without this series of hagiographical biopics.
