It’s pretty clear which episode I watched because I’ve quoted it at length, but in case you missed it: it was the dogshit one where the ghost slept and woke and walked ad nauseam and the writing was terrible.

I’d prefer Eric Idle to personally, but I’ll take either of them. The Pythons have neatly divided themselves into ‘already dead’, ‘determined to destroy their legacy on the way out’, and ‘must be protected at all costs’.
The movie starts with him murdering his sister and her boyfriend while they’re having sex
That’s because it inhabited the soul of Charles Lee Ray
The Guard is number 2; Calvary is number 1.
She’d be right, too.
The Used’s cover of Talking Heads is bad for sure, but I found this far more upsetting:
And if you like Limp Bizkit, there’s nothing wrong with Behind Blue Eyes.
His cover of ‘Tainted Love’ should’ve been on this list instead of ‘Sweet Dreams’, and Soft Cell’s ‘Tainted Love’ should’ve been on the best covers list.
And of course Kinja fucks up the quotation. Doesn’t make any less sense though.
With the popularity of PayPal making even more money wealthy than he already was.
I’ve obviously never watched a full episode of The Catherine Tate Show because it’s dogshit, but I’m pretty sure that Lauren Cooper isn’t a cheerleader, because that’s not a thing we do in the UK.
I can’t believe ‘Bambi’ isn’t in this list, let alone no-one mentioning it in the comments.
Nor any of the others on this list – that film is dogshit.
Pleasantly surprised at the solid choice for number 1, after anticipating ‘Enjoy the Silence’ (which would also have been a solid choice, of course).
It wasn’t even post credits – it’s when Tim Roth turns into Abomination and lashes out at TBN, as he’s lying on the floor he gets some Banner-blood in his head wound and becomes (for half a second) the Leader.
The post credits scene, iirc, is Thunderbolt Ross getting shitfaced in a bar and Tony Stark turning up to make…
Obviously not as iconic as The Thing, but The Fog has a great one that’s surprisingly effective since it’s not really much of a scare: Father Malone steps out of the shadows where Kathy (and the audience) can’t see him and startles her. I saw The Fog in a Carpenter triple bill with The Thing and Halloween a few years…
Yeah, that one’s an all-time great. A friend of mine sat next to me in the cinema literally fell out of his chair at that moment.
Or to ‘Chinga’, Stephen King’s episode of The X-Files.
This mistake is at least a running joke/sad reflection of this shithole country, at least in the TV series (it’s been a while since I read any Christie so I can’t remember whether it’s from the books), so *maybe* the author was making an ironic reference?
