I can see how this would make sense as a means against brute-force, but.. wouldn't it be pretty weak against dictionary attacks?

@crsdfr: although the technology to do that is somewhat entirely unrelated to how records work... Granted, Records are alot simpler, it's also worth saying that even if they have the technological capability of using it, would they even know what it is?

@elsifer: Similarly, the more tired I am, the more easily annoyed I am. Hence, I perceive things to be alot worse than they are. For instance, I tend to get far more aggravated with my crappy old laptop at such times. Simple issues will seem utterly insurmountable, but then I get a full night's rest and everything's

@elsifer: Similar thing: The more tired I am, the grouchier I am. EG; 1AM, messing with my crappy laptop, and I imagine all sorts of horrible problems with it that are just absolutely insurmountable and I will never be able to bring myself to enjoy using it again.

I could make plenty of wisecracks and skeptical jabs, but I think I'd just prefer to ask if there's any actual science behind any of this. I mean, is there ANYTHING suggesting this is actually a threat?
