I hope so. I could still see that being the way the writers dealt with his character and us never seeing him again. Same with Martha.

That's what I thought. I'll be curious to see if Philip is still pretend dating Deidre in S6 though with Elizabeth clearly wanting him to drop every assignment sans Kimmy.

A few dangling threads as we head into the show's final seasons. Unless I'm misremembering, Philip and Elizabeth playing the parts of boyfriend/girlfriend to Deidre and Ben is still an active mission. Kimmy will obviously still be an active mission as well. Stan certainly isn't finished with Sofia.

I enjoyed the Oleg stuff and felt it was well-paced (especially when contrasted with Nina's post-America arc, which dragged on a season too long).

I think they were trying to cull members of the cast in preparation for it getting a big expansion with the introduction to Alexandria + Morgan coming on as a series regular. But yeah, there were far better ways to accomplish it (like getting tragically bitten somehow; this is TWD after all). She stabbed Dawn in the

For me, the scenes were fine in isolation, they just didn't work in placement. We should have gotten them back in Season 6, when they would have done a better job selling a relationship that came almost out of left field. But, of course, we couldn't get them in Season 6 because it would have telegraphed that one of

Easily the stupidest death, both in logic and execution, that the show has had. (Dale comes close, but that can at least be excused somewhat because the actor wanted off the show and probably didn't give Mazzara enough time to come up with a better scenario.)

One of my favorite Negan moments for sure. "I count eight! You said it was half their fucking army!" "*Ahem* I'm man enough to admit I thought I'd save a lot more lives with that maneuver!"</spoilers>

I doubt it. Like with Carl and Judith, the show is making a point to say the child is "the future."

I still think, comics be damned (she's still alive in the books), she's going to be killed off at some point after she gives birth and they'll bring Steven Yeun back for an afterlife scene.

I will say, as a tribute to Glenn's character, Maggie's voiceover describing how none of them would have found each other and made it as far as they did were it not for Glenn sticking his neck out for Rick back in Atlanta was incredibly effective. It's something you never would have thought about, but when it was

The acting in that exchange was superb. I also liked how he seemed to genuinely thank Sasha right before she went in the coffin for trying to help him get Rick under control.

I liked this finale better than you did, but I agree with your overall summation of this season. Far too much wheel-spinning, and obvious wheel-spinning at that.

I stopped watching like midway through Season 5, so I can't comment on any of the current storylines, but I you sort of hit the nail on the head here. The entire premise of the show changed with the first season's finale, and it never really knew what to do with itself after that. It finally got to the point where I

No need to shout. Some people are really sensitive and don't watch the previews and don't want even a hint as to what next week's episode is about.

I actually think the second half of the "Hershel's farm season" was one of the show's better stretches, personally.

At this point, we're pretty much just watching for premieres and finales, with a few good moments/episodes sprinkled in between.

I'm thanking you now. You keep preaching that Gospel, sir/madam/whichever pronoun you prefer.

At least it was properly set up for them both to have that reaction. I'm dreading thecontinuation of the awful Rosita storyline next week.

Responding to every post and repeating the same thing over and over is a good and righteous path for you to take, and you should continue down this road with the utmost enthusiasm.
