It’s a story involving a bounty hunter. Bounty hunters capture or kill people, no questions asked, for money. What did you expect?

io9 got fucked hard by the addition of the Onion and thereby AV club to the GMG family. I love the AV club, but man its clear that upper management did not feel like io9 needed to exist separately. It was probably an early warning of things to come.

My issue is more than it became “pure sci fi”, rather than the awesome mix of fiction and actual science and anthropology it started off as. I think some of that was unavoidably lost when it joined Gawker but the merge with Gizmodo always felt like a bad step
