Going to be really disappointed if this is an expansion of Amiibos style expensive physical toys that give in-game perks. But it would make me look into those blank RFID cards that can be programed via your phone.

These do the trick, for the most part:

Those shoulder buttons are my main concern as well. Even with the little slide-on pieces that come with the Switch, it takes dedicated effort to press the shoulders hard enough to depress the tiny buttons on the joy-con. Powersliding in MK8D requires me to brace the bottom of the joy-con with my palm so that there’s

I’ve got these, and the shoulder buttons are actually really nice.

Spelling errors aside, I think she’s onto something. Nintendogs would work great as a mobile game! Especially if put new toys/extra dogs behind pay walls and shit like that. Get on this gold mine, Nintendo!

At least his wipers won’t stick to the windshield. #silverlining

My neck hurts.

Totally weird. The N64 is the worst Nintendo home console IMO. Worst controller and worst library by far, Super Mario 64 and Blast Corps notwithstanding.

There are so many indie Metroidvanias and so few indie Zeldalikes. Which is weird, because I have the impression that a Metroidvania would be harder to make than a Zeldalike. (For one thing, you have jumping and verticality to plan for in level design.)

I wish I didn’t read this article. I never wanted to know it wasn’t real. My Internet Innocence died on Christmas. Sad trombone.

We are all waiting for Wargroove.

I played Tapped Out every single day for a year. Only ever spent around $20. Then one day I skipped playing and never played again. It’s well-written for Simpsons fans that can avoid maxing out their credit card for some fan favorite buildings and characters.

The New Hope milk was pasteurized. It changes color a bit during the process.

Social media has screwed us.

Agree, all it has done is enabled people to share their opinions with everyone, get validation for it but wait, its not an opinion anymore its a fact! and if you disagree with my facts I will insult you and mock your values which are also now facts.

The world would be better without comment sections on articles, let’s be honest. We can chart the downfall of civilization back to when “Web 2.0" started with social media and commenting. Sure people had the same bigoted ideals before that, but it was harder for them to share it.

I don’t know why you insist on the battery/charge pack thing, that grip only has a connection to a USB cable to charge your joycon, there’s no battery pack in it or anything like that. That’s a different product. This one’s just to be able to charge the joycon while playing docked, like you would using a pro

I wholeheartedly disagree with the notion of Switch lacking games. Even if we assume you’ve played and have no interest in playing ports like Mario Kart, Skyrim, etc., there’s still Splatoon, Mario + Rabbids, Golf Story, Steamworld Dig 2, and a slew of other indie games. I go months at a time without turning on my PS4.

I have a carry-case for my Switch that I bring in my purse, but since the Switch doesn’t have a Streetpass feature, I’m not really bringing it around regularly, unless I know specifically that I’m going to play with it (like a friend challenges me to some Splatoon during lunch or something).
