Eh. Phil Spencer opened the game up to looking at things like player count with his nonsense that there’s so much content people would be playing Starfield for a decade. I think it’s a proper conversation given that.

Remake is different than the original. Subtly at first but diverging more by the end. Think of it either as a parallel universe to the first game, or a second go-round on the wheel where a few characters might have memories of what happened previously.

They are acting like this is standalone but Dorothy is clearly in that trailer so it seems to be the same universe. And Kiernan Shipka looks like the daughter of Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton

I’m actually impressed with how this looks visually. In the old days, television continuations of animated movies looked.. uhhh. Cheap. I think that even held true for a recent How to Train your Dragon series. This looks like it just walked off of the film set. Granted it’s a hybrid live action/CG show, but still.

I’m not sure how Messiah is the end of Paul’s arc? I guess like, “Paul”’s arc ends.. but like.... his story finishes in Children. I guess unless he’s trying to make it a “surprise” to the casual audience?

Prince of Persia is a lot of fun. Im going to try the demo of this, I hope it’s good. And maybe Silksong this year too? And maybe Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remasters, or even 4? Metroidvania fans eating good this year
