It’s going to be an interesting 2024 for the Switch then if they are working on Switch 2 titles and those won’t be ready for a launch this fall. I guess Nintendo is probably sitting on ports they can release to fill the calendar (Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 2 & 3, maybe that rumored Fire Emblem 4

Yes the CW skews older, but that meant they were watching the shows that were currently on! Granny wanted her Riverdale apparently. Not the nonsense they are airing now that is “aimed” at the older crowd.

The Children of Dune miniseries also had an adult Alia. It’s a bit weird because the rest of the catch isn’t going to age that much with a time skip, but yeah. Also Rebecca Ferguson is only 12 years older than Chalamet so that’s always been weird

So what do we think is the issue - Scope creep? Or an issue where Hornet’s gameplay just isn’t fun?

I know that Team Cherry doesn’t need to be more communicative, but it would be nice if they did provide some updates. Heck, even just “enemy of the month” or something showcasing new mobs/models.

They apparently posted

Eh. Phil Spencer opened the game up to looking at things like player count with his nonsense that there’s so much content people would be playing Starfield for a decade. I think it’s a proper conversation given that.

Per other reports they also nixed Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos from the standard tier. I assume that’s going to get added into the lawsuit.

Remake is different than the original. Subtly at first but diverging more by the end. Think of it either as a parallel universe to the first game, or a second go-round on the wheel where a few characters might have memories of what happened previously.

I’m actually impressed with how this looks visually. In the old days, television continuations of animated movies looked.. uhhh. Cheap. I think that even held true for a recent How to Train your Dragon series. This looks like it just walked off of the film set. Granted it’s a hybrid live action/CG show, but still.

Prince of Persia is a lot of fun. Im going to try the demo of this, I hope it’s good. And maybe Silksong this year too? And maybe Metroid Prime 2 & 3 remasters, or even 4? Metroidvania fans eating good this year

A rumor earlier this month was Hayden Christensen for Shadow in the movie

Don’t forget that SiriusXM bought Conan O’Brien’s company Team Coco back in 2022 as well.

Another article mentioned that they are going to focus on an original IP going forward. Curious on who crunched those numbers that an original IP will make more money than Deus Ex? I thought there was a fear of doing new IP these days? It must be some mobile money grab that they couldn’t mold Deus Ex into.

Rumor is Luigi’s Mansion for at least part of that expansion space. Oh and Pokémon replacing Simpsons at Studios, as the contract is up in 2028 and Disney owns it now.

The longstanding rumor is that The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure in Florida will be converted into Zelda. We’ll see! Everything there is currently permanently closed except the restaurant so something has to happen to it.

I mean, remember when Israel swore there were tunnels under the hospital? Then took awhile to let anyone see them? I joked that they were in the process of digging them. Apparently that wasn’t far from the truth, since initial footage showed less weapons around then when more crew were allowed in. Of course I can’t

This might sound like a dumb question.. but how many of these releases each day are actually meant to be, well, games people expect to sell?

What I’m saying is.. couldn’t a lot of these be things like student projects getting published? Either as the end of the course, or just someone who made it in a course and

It’s a metroidvania, made by the Rayman studio, and IM SO EXCITED

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony is waiting to see when Nintendo plans on dropping the Switch successor. Not that they directly compete, but that will take eyeballs away from Sony games for a few months. Like it did to Horizon. Twice.

Developers also many times had to stop actual work on their games to create a vertical slice demo for E3. So that being a thing of the past is also good news

She also left the studio before Ghostwire Tokyo was complete, so there’s that.
