This series apparently cost $200 million - as much as the movies!! Why does it seem so bad. Why aren’t they just movies released on Disney+, or at least miniseries of 2-3 episodes that doesn’t have to try to come up with cliffhangers each episode? Ahhh. This should be so much better.

A month or two ago the regular giant skeleton was actually in stock so I ordered it on a whim. And had buyer’s remorse almost immediately ($375 for something that would only be up a few weeks a year and I would have a hard time storing). So I had basically already made the decision to return it, but when I told my

Yup. Pretty early on too I think (definitely act 1). And I think as motivation to get one of the new recruits to stick around? Maybe even Boyega’s character? I know I saw the movie but didn’t retain much of it

I’ve watched.. every Marvel TV show? I think? But this one is wearing on me. I agree it would be better as a binge. Or a miniseries (like 3 hour long episodes or something) - or you know, a movie. What’s really the difference between these shows and a movie besides milking them out for six weeks?

So you are not looking forward to the “live action” Lion King prequel Mufasa? Which is a 100% real product coming soon.

He’s better than Chapek but Disney does need new leadership. The issue is that Iger extended his original contract for so long that all the original heir apparents gave up waiting and left - except Chapek.

Jack Dorsey isn’t a good guy either, so I’m not sure we should be supporting Bluesky. Especially if he manages to get Robert Kennedy to siphon enough votes off of Biden to let a Republican win in 2024. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4034584-ex-twitter-leader-jack-dorsey-endorses-rfk-jr-for-president/

This sounds about right. A week or so ago I was poking around on websites here in Florida. I could drive 10 minutes and get an Ioniq 5 (maybe 6 too? I forget) from the local Hyundai dealer.

Wasn’t Randy Pitchford hot on this originally too (he gave the behind the scenes tour we saw right)? Doesn’t seem like he’s had much to say about it lately either

Mostly unrelated, but Shadow & Bone season 2 chewed through a lot of story as well, and was worse off for it. Is it a Netflix mandate or something?

And in chronological order please! I really don’t understand why anyone likes the random algorithm shit, even companies. I sure enjoy seeing posts for sales, events, etc for the first time from pages I follow after it’s over. And also when hurricanes are coming, it’s bizarre to see posts about the storm still forming

If they are seeing a drop in viewership (and assuming it’s because Cavill is gone and not because the show is... not great), then they better either just cancel the show, or back up a money truck to Cavill’s house and do whatever he wants for season 4. Sorry Liam. And Lauren.

Do we even want to be supporting anything Jack Dorsey is involved in?

Speaking of, why is Haunted Mansion coming out this month instead of, you know, October?

Daft Punk broke up, so..

Somehow my wife and I watched all the episodes. I guess we were bored and nothing else was on. It really never got more interesting as the season went on. Season 2 is going to have to be a completely different show to get better.

This also means we can discriminate against religions we don’t agree with too right? RIGHT?

My best example of this is No Man’s Sky. That game still sits at its original $60 except for sales when it drops to $30.

I mean, that exists at all Cons

Remember folks - Niantic is a data gathering company first, game company second. They are getting all the location data they could ever want by people playing their games. Oh and thanks PoGo players for doing digital scans of Points of Interest for them! They are absolutely going to start licensing this data and tech
