Would you like some cornflakes to sprinkle in there with your personal micturations?

Thank you so much for sharing your pet peeves and personal viewing habits with us.

Thanks for sharing, I guess.

Says the guy with an icon from a 10-year-old meme. Success Kid's probably taking algebra this year.

Yeah, it can't hold a candle to your dazzling 11-word essay.

I really think this reviewer just doesn't get neo-noir, and wants a kind of foolish consistency that this genre has just never been interested in providing.

Huh. Worst people. I'd have thought genocide would have tied in there with the top spot somewhere, but then, I don't have your healthy sense of proportion.

You know deep down in your heart they're eating marbles when nobody is looking and feeling very smug about it.

Because that is quite literally what he is. He's been a conspiracy nut for decades, from insisting the Central Park Five were guilty to spreading the Obama "birther" theory. There is just no other way to describe him.

"A film set in a hotel room? There's no way the market will bear two of those within 25 years!"

You can like or dislike Moe Dammik, but if you can tell me with a straight face in 2017 that he's not realistic, you've lived a very sheltered and fortunate life, probably one that's never involved office work. (The AV Club does NOT count as office work, even if you work in an office. You're not NEARLY alienated

Pfft. "Death." Nothin' pickles can't fix. :D

It's. A. Neo. Noir.

Thanks, you beat me to it. I sentence this dude to watch The Long Goodbye on repeat play for about a year.

Did I just watch a professional reviewer and a whole forum full of commenters complain because a neo-noir was all nihilistic and anticlimactic in the end?

I have a degree of sympathy, but if your viewing experience is jarred so bad by basically being told "something interesting is going to happen in a later episode," maybe your threshold for spoilers is just a *tad* too low?

Don't just sit there and take it! Demand your money back!

You know, I think it just might haveve gotten better reviews from the "media" if it were a better made, written, acted, shot, edited, and promoted film. But you know, if we put the word "liberal" in front of media and cross our fingers, maybe people will forget about all those things and believe you when you reduce it

> I don't know, can I get away with blaming this on the postmodernists?
