Agreed. I don’t think we will have real, fully autonomous vehicles for a long time. There are just so many variables that have to be accounted for and programmed to handle. My real point is that we’ve gone past the point of diminishing returns here, and regulations now exist purely for their own sake, as revenue generators for the government and not because they’re actually doing any real good for the environment.
