Childish is a lot of fun.

It’s just not needed to make the point. Car magazines were something I’ve read since grade school. I never remember thinking what they needed was more swearing. Patrick Bedard wrote a column titled “Relief at 70" if I remember correctly in the early 80's. It was about peeing out an open car door. That was pretty out

I guess. I think it may just be a more callous society all together. I’ve been in the professional world for about 25 years now. I design plastic injection molds for an American mold builder...ever rarer thing that. Even in a shop environment it’s amazing how much more vulgarity there is than when I was starting out.

Just curious. Do you have kids?

Fine story, but I don’t think the profanity is professional or needed. If my 5 year old was 10 instead, I’d like him to be able to read this stuff. I don’t see it adds much. Just an opinion.

It is a great cruiser. We’ve taken it from Iowa to Dallas and also to Denver. I like the seats in my VW CC better, but it may just be what I’m used to. I like a snug, sporty seat like my CC or RX7 better than wider seats like the Avalon has. It is also missing thigh support for me.

I think they were a little more top heavy than normal.

See how fast the Avalon is!

Thanks for a story on Tesla that isn’t free advertising. Great job.

This concept kind of reminds me of late 80's Pontiac show cars. I see the Banshee in there. It is also very late 80's, early 90's Celica.

Was stolen 7 times and rolled each time or stolen once and rolled 7 times? Also, how do you know exactly how many times it rolled unless... maybe you borrowed her car and rolled it excaping punishment by fleeing the scene and blaming a thief?

My wife’s car is a 2015 Avalon Hybrid. It replaced a 2006 Avalon V6. The new one is so much better than the old one I can’t begin to explain it. It is a very pleasant car to drive. And no matter where you drive it gets 40 mpg if the weather is decent. It’s really quite an amazing car. WAY better than I expected.

Neither of them are my candidate. He’s a socialist and she sells national security, not to mention uranium to Russia and gold rights in Haiti, for personal profit.

Then by all means, brow beat anyone who doesn’t see it your way into voting how you want. We stand in awe of your wisdom

I didn’t say she shouldn’t get involved. I told her not to vote for anything her party puts up there just because they tell you that you have to. If the candidate in question does not reflect your ideals AND especially if she was chosen for you long before the primary ever started, for God’s sake don’t vote for her.

It’s amazing how you choose to hear things. I don’t hear him regretting his vote. He is shocked they won. Shocked his vote helped it happen. Perhaps shocked there wasn’t a larger vote fraud campaign.

hopefully just the illegal immigrant families.

It’s really too bad the Remain camp used crazy scare tactics to try to intimidate everyone into voting with them. All of the fear mongering is what is causing the shock, not the leaving. It will all settle in the end and probably be a lot better.

Stick to your guns. You can’t change your party by voting for anything they tell you to. Be brave. Many are going to attack you. Yes, be brave.
