This might help the doctors by extending the rationing period but it isn't going to magically fix a shortage when there are only 6 companies globally producing the majority of these drugs in question and these companies are already maxed out on production capabilities (because the profit margin is so slim, not

You have a point there sir. I can't imagine they are hurting as bad as Kodak is though.

Clearly people aren't understanding what is being said in this article (Which, for Gizmodo standards, is reasonably well written. This means it is at a proficiency level roughly equivalent to that of a 10 year old. There are clearly NO editors at Gawker Media and no citation standards, how this is even legal is

The goddam "revenge" add is blocking the twitter share button. refresh doesn't help... WTF? I can tell you right now I am not the right demographic for that add anyway...

Very true, many are escapees as well.

Dude, read the article man, these chips are PASSIVE meaning they just have numbers in them... that is all. You have to scan these chips with a hand held scanner at close range (less than an inch usually) to read the pin number, then you look up the number online for the owner's information.

I was about to say after reading the title that it really didn't sound like that much. Well, I mean it is but not anything astronomical.

Batmanning... as if enough people didn't injure themselves planking. I predict an increase in the number of concussions in the coming months.

Does this void the warranty?

Um, I should point out that only the type of people that are most likely to be on OKCupid and live in New York are like that. I can hardly can't imagine that OKCupid is representative of the general population you know, that or I am just not that 'mainstream'??? Probably not... but then one has to question why you

Yeah I felt it here in SW Michigan... er or I felt a quake at about 2pm. I have been in an Earthquake in Costa Rica and it felt similar (way, way weaker though but my chair definitely wobbled in that distinct wavy rocking motion). I said to myself "Must be an earthquake" half joking, apparently it could have been?

Good that they hunt boar, they are invasive here in the US (unfortunately introduced specifically for hunting).

World class journalism eh?

Actually Aegis BMD works, or at least it should work quite well. The problem is that the navy won't permit enough of it's funding to go towards maintaining a high state of readiness fleet equipped with Aegis systems, because supposed 'streamlining' efforts in maintenance (basically cutting crew sizes). The money is

I was about to say I want one and I am going to get one, then I saw the price... I mean I could even see $200 or $300 but $1500 is completely in the WTF? range. Can 3D printing be that freaking expensive?

I don't see this being a big deal, really, at least not in the sense that it is hypocritical. Several US police forces have recently gotten a hold of similar technology and finger prints have been stored in databases on just about every government employee and many private corporation's employees for years now.
