If someone ran up to me and screamed, “Quick, tell me something about a car!” I would assume it was you and Jalopnik deadlines are no joking matter.

Former car salescritter here, eventually became an F&I guy, sales manager, and GSM. What follows should be considered well-informed opinion...

I gotta admit, it’s not often I encounter a grille design I’ve simply never seen before. But there it is: two ovals with mirrored, off-center cruciform inner structures.

Do you really have to ask?

The last of this breed that I know of was the Citroën AX based Mega Club/Ranch/Tjaffer:

No Unicab?

“Good afternoon and welcome to the Lane Museum. Our guest speaker today is Mr. Jason Torchinsky; Jalopnik contributor, fan of old cars, and... things.”

Sounds like fun with cars... Will you be recording for a video update of the fun bits?

What we really need is a 2 door version, that carries all my friends and has a bed that is both long enough to haul a 4 wheeler and some lumber or something but be super short for sick trails, also diesel manual and no more than 30 grand. Its not rocket surgery Jeep!

No. When you buy a car, it is a thing that you own. You are not a steward of the vehicle, to preserve it for future generations. You use it as you see fit.

Wow, that’s a masterpiece. I think it should be preserved as is as a work of art, and a tribute to American ingenuity and design prowess.

I’m an extreme outlier: I like painted DeLoreans.

Not a single car, but a whole brand.

I’m not crying,

Don’t knock Lake Mehneblaha. It’s a struggling tourist town filled with good people just trying to make a living.

My favorite thing is when they show an interest in a car. It can be nostalgia, status, or even color. But knowing they had genuine interest in something car related for a moment lets me have a moment to expand what they know if only a tiny amount.
