Also, you can go to our website...where you can see all 520+ cars, motorcycles, boats, and airplanes. I’ve been updating it weekly, so a few of the cars do not have descriptions yet. The bicycle collection will (hopefully) be up soon. www.lanemotormuseum.org

We have been on a search for a replacement tire. The front right tire actually has a 25mm hole in it from where we used to crush cars for museum visitors’ amusement. Note: BMW really made E30 convertibles with strong windshields.

No loballerz! I know what I have!!1!

Also, Elvis Presley, thankyaverymuch:

Glad you had fun! The shifter on the Isetta....woo boy. Vague is being nice...I simply cannot figure out what gear I am in. The ride is relatively supple, but the gear shift just ruins driving this car for me.

I-75 from Atlanta to Valdosta. I drive from Tennessee to St. Augustine every year for vacation, and this stretch just sucks as well. You get bombarded by insects, it’s usually hot as hell (comparably to the rest of the South in June), and there is NOTHING save for the occasional pecan outlet store and hundreds of

2CV? Yes, have some:

As with all Jalops, email me (the info is on our website) when you are back in town. I’ll give you the back stage tour.

Trust me, the link is in Jeff Lane’s inbox this morning. ;)

I’m biased, but yes, you must come see us. If you want to come on a weekday, email me and give me a heads up. I’d love to greet fellow Jalops.

It’s not intentional, because the stadium has changed ownership a few times. Nissan is just the current owner. However, Tennessee Nissan dealerships could paint any Titan “Titan Blue”, slap some goofy Titans logo all over it, charge $80,000, and sell every. Single. One.

Here it is in Lane’s basement awaiting transport to Amelia. Agreed with the Lola/904 comparison. I didn’t get a shot of the rear, but it looks very GT40 as well. Beautiful car.

True, I wasn’t exactly piloting a 1910 Cadillac around, but relatively, most of our pre-war cars are more, um, involved while driving through traffic.

When The Grand Tour came to Nashville, the producers asked if we could bring a few of the museum’s cars to the taping downtown at Nissan Stadium (home to the Titans). Pre-production staff had toured the museum before, but I guess Clarkson/Wilman didn’t see the value in doing something with Lane Motor Museum. Eh.

Manual wipers + umbrella-style shifter + 9hp + Nashville traffic in the rain = no bueno. I was genuinely impressed when you returned. Mad props sir.

Very jealous. The want for one of these GPs is still strong for me.

This is the greatest Beetle article yet. Those bumpers look so...modern.

No worries. When I drove it off of the transporter, that must have been where it came from (about a year and half ago). Nissan is always loaning out their Heritage Collections to various museums and whatnot.

This car is actually in the basement of the Lane Motor Museum as part of Nissan’s Heritage Collection. It is not currently on display, however. I remember having to drive it off of the transporter. It runs pretty much like crap and myself and a coworker had to boost it just to get the doors to open (they pop open from
