Not quite sure how anyone could be a fan of Scott’s and not know that it’s a joke. Scott hates Trump.

Bill Maher is an anti-vaxxer and purveyor of pseudo-science.
Same here. I hope he goes Allen Iverson or Mecha-Kobe and scores 40 a game and averages almost a triple double.
I recently found out that XOJane editor-at-large Mandy Stadtmiller defending Cumia on the DV stuff, saying this about the victim:
If anyone cares, Anthony was calling in because it was Opie’s first ‘solo’ show. After Anthony was rightfully fired, Opie continued doing the show with Jim Norton. There’s been recent contract expirations, and now Opie does afternoons alone and Jim Norton does the morning show. Anthony still has his fledgling…
Will do. I know of him tangentially from his Anthony Cumia show, and he is indeed awful.
Most of this article reads like someone who does not follow baseball. Like, “The Mets are the team you probably still think of as the Yankees’ loser little brother” and “and the technically unrelated but still viscerally satisfying Yankees flop this year” (the Yankees were only 3 games worse than the Mets and made…
I’m a Mets fan, but the Giants have more than the ‘aura of the “even year championship run” or the intangibles like veteran world series experience’. They have Madison Bumgarner, who is fantastic on the road in the playoffs (44 2/3 innings, 3 runs) and is just as good at CitiField (2 runs in 29 innings). Mets only…
It’s absolutely layered. Gender roles and issues of power, tyranny, economy (commodities), sexuality, and identity are all explored. I’m not sure you looked hard enough beyond the action. Thunderdome was just silly and boring.
Only one of those three things is DV, but nice try, anyway.
I get what you’re saying, but I think it’s worth noting that JVG is not a legal scholar and he was speaking extemporaneously. I don’t think we should be focusing on exactly what he said and how feasible it would be (there’s also the union) and instead focus on him bringing this issue up and saying that the NBA needs…
I remember seeing Lost In Translation in theaters and really liking it. I must have been young and naive, because I recently rewatched it and didn’t really enjoy it.
The Life Aquatic is pure fun. Pacing be damned, it’s a real treat.
I agree with all of this except the Mad Max thing (well, I hated in the Mood for Love but that’s beside the point). Mad Max was an awesome, genre-defining movie. Best action movie in quite some time, visually stunning but layered in ways that most action movies are not.
imo, obviously, but Blue Velvet is better than Drive. I would also put Eraserhead ahead of it, but that’s because I love the movie in an irrational way because it introduced me to Lynch.
Wait, the editor-at-large of XOJane is married to Pat Dixon? Who has a show on Anthony Cumia’s (yeah, THAT Anthony Cumia) podcasting network? Wow.
Well, whoopsie goldberg, then.
Odell IMMEDIATELY ran directly into his face and then said something to/touched the ref.
You mean the defending NL Champs? Who are most likely playoff-bound again?
In addition to being in entertainment (there’s also Crank Yankers, his two movies, four bpoks, his podcasting network, and his work as a writer on Kimmel for years), Adam has been a carpenter for years. He fixes up and resells houses on the side. He also sells Mangria. Google has him at $15 million net worth, I’d…
