Oprah Winfrey asking me for money would be warning enough. Doesn’t she already have most of it?

Combustibility concerns are a red herring. Airlines are heading more robust self-monitoring capabilities off at the pass, because they don’t want customers having eyes and ears behind the scenes.

I laughed out loud. (Some might consider it more of a cackle.)

Thanks for (almost 2 years ago) reminding me about that fantastic Target campaign. This one was always my favorite.

Damn. I was in complete agreement with the OP, but you make a very solid point.

I don’t understand why so many fans willfully ignore the very real possibility Steve Trevor was plucked out of that plane at the last minute by one of the many time-travellers DC has at its disposal...including the guy who also runs, like,...really fast.

Emoji flashcards.

Fair enough.

I’m suddenly much more at ease regarding the current mouse problem in my apartment.

You’re not a “big picture thinker”, are you.

Such dirty minds people have. It’s only a penis if you want to see a penis...Personally, I’m going with “Reminder string tied around finger”.

Anderson’s was literally the first name that popped into my head. I’m sure even he’s grown weary of his dumbing down of the Dune chronicles. His mediocrity needs to feed on fresh meat.

Great question. The even greater question is why didn’t WB lock him down to a multi-picture deal up front if they had such grand plans for the character? Being short-sighted makes it difficult to get out of their own way, I suppose.

The world needs another solo Batman movie right now about as much as we need Ben Affleck doing us the huge favor of being in it.

That’s not a typo. That’s a vocabulary mistake. Assuming you consider yourself a professional writer, you should learn how to own them with more grace when you make them.

Agreed. Movie studios and non-comic fans can’t seem to grasp the fact Marvel storytellers, while relatively new to the movie-making business, have been crafting (and re-crafting) their mythology within a shared universe for over half a century.

Your opinion is actually quite popular within my personal geek cluster. I’ve never heard anyone say anything positive about her (in relation to the Thor films.)

Ha! Fair enough, but I should’ve been clear as to where I do keep mine, which is out of sight behind my television. I have no interest in looking at it.

That’s a shame for her, of course, but I have to say...I saw the movie last week, and didn’t even notice she was missing.

Impressive. I hadn’t thought my opinion of Mr. Seagal could go any lower.
