Sweet! Does it replace that annoying "maximize window" button with "zoom window"? :-} Seriously, as solid as OSX is under the hood I always found the interface a little too wrapped up in design "philosophy". "Bob", talking paperclips and search puppies none withstanding, Windows XP look and feel isn't something I have

I don't see the advantage of the clever graphical gymnastics involved. My local hardware store puts out a freebie business-card sized calendar, in plain-old one-year calendar format, using *one* side of the card, with plenty of room for their name/address/phone. It includes a 3" ruler and a decimal equivalents chart

Hmmm...there's something about printing a document without even looking at it on screen first that doesn't strike me as very tree-friendly. Haven't tested this but if you rip out the '/h /p' command line options from the VB code the documents should just open in Acrobat - now you can go read all the docs before

Too right! It's gotten to the point where I literally cannot do the dishes without an iPod.

Cheers sciotosurfer, kureshii, and calebc for the hotkey lists.

@Sanja: OK, but then what gets all the dry cleaning stuff out of the pillow? :-)

What I've looked for but couldn't find was a way to open everything in a bookmark folder when first opening FF. There's a way to do this *by default* i.e whenever you open FF, but not on demand. I'm thinking a command line option I can put into a shortcut. Any way to do this without resorting to a massive bookmarklet?

Sounds good, but doesn't this take away ad revenue from tinyurl.com? They only get paid when someone visits the site to make the URL, right?

During your next trip to IKEA grab one of those free one meter paper tape measures, fold it up, and put it in your wallet. They're labeled in both Metric and English.

This is reminiscent of how soft contact lenses work:

A similar trick to open files or programs as some else (say you need to need to log in as an Administrator to alter some files) is:
