This is more of an alternative fuel debate. Why change to hydrogen, which take a lot of energy to produce, when we have petrol/hybrid for the people who can’t utilize EV.

You sir, get my star.
You do know that the end of Skyfall is the end of every A-Team episode. Out matched and out gunned, the crew hobble together improvised weapons to snatch victory away from their foes. The only thing it was missing was M saying “Shut up fool, I ain’t getting in no tunnel”.
My biggest complaint is how boring the video is. At one point it’s stated that you make all your time in the east and lose it all in the west. But, WHY?
3rd gear: When I helped my neighbor buy a Hyundai Santa Fe I was shocked how many were previous rentals. How many you ask, when I looked at the best 20 deals on Car Gurus all 20 were previous rentals. Fleet sales might help the figures but it sure hurts the profit and resale.
WTF, the British guy is named Jethro and not the American redneck?
“much like how the ancient Egyptians would sometimes substitute the “loaves of bread” glyph with the “feather” glyph in offering formula images, since they were visually similar, but the feather added an extra layer of symbolic meaning.”
This is getting painful to witness. It’s like when I ran into my friend from high school and he told me about his sister who is in rehab. That was the same story I heard three years ago. It’s just a cycle of depression that I won’t let get to me.
But, can it pull a F-150 up a hill in a tug-o-war?
I do understand how engines work. My comment was not referencing engineering but advertising. How often do you see torque mentioned with out “low end” preceding it?
WHAT? Engineer doesn’t have any idea of what it takes to manufacture something. I’m shocked (said no machinist/sheet metal worker ever).
5th gear: Amazing how the legacy automakers seem to have the same issues the new kids have. Building cars is hard even if you’ve been doing it for over a hundred years.
First, stop calling it “low end torque”. It’s just torque. I’ve never heard high end torque, or mid end torque, mentioned.
The problem is the hybrid version will be $130,000 while the EV could be in the $60-70k range.
Secretly I think you want the inside of the engine to look like the rest of your fleet.
I’m surprised that they went hybrid and not just full EV. It would kill the Tesla Roadster and really put a shot over the bow of other auto makers.
The entire time the reveal was happening I was waiting for that geometric butt plug to be pushed off the stage and replaced with something more traditional. But, I guess we’re doing it. So, I ponied up my $100 reservation because I can’t imagine that the truck will be released in that form. I do agree that it’s…
It isn’t often that you get to witness greatness, but them breaking the glass was truly epic. I’m thinking the guy who guaranteed the glass is packing his desk today.
Steve Jobs he is not.
“After much discussion with his family and friends attorneys, Gary has elected been forced to resign his position as UAW president and retire prepare for incarceration effective immediately,”
