It alleges that FCA interfered with implementation of contracts as soon as 2009.”  It should read:  “FCA interfered with implementation of updates to platforms as soon as 2009"

How about just the best stories. Mine is about the sponsor complaining about the driver not being professional enough and showed up for the next race in a 3 piece suit.  I think it was Buck Baker.

I always thought that was weird, but I read it either on a Trivial Pursuit card or Snapple bottle cap, so it has to be true.

I tell my kids to follow the law of the sea: The larger ship always has the right of way. As a pedestrian you have the right of way, but that don’t mean shit if you get hit.

Nope and Nope.

Kind of how “Custom-Deluxe” used to be the cheapest version of GM trucks.  Nothing custom or deluxe about them.

But David must have found the “rust” option.  I’m still looking.

This is more about Google than EV charging. This morning I told my wife I would take her car to Costco and get gas. I drive the same route every day to work and when I get in my car I check my phone to see if the route is clear and the map always has the route to work highlighted. This morning when I opened maps it

My main concern is GM thought process repeating itself from 1974 (Who wants fuel efficient cars) and 1988 (Who cares about quality). The problem is GM and Ford are the slowest kids in the campsite and can’t outrun the bear.

I understand that train of thought. But they can build both styles. Not like building an BEV/hybrid Ram will take away from the ICE Ram.  I do have a better understanding of how they think after seeing Ford vs Ferrari.  Leo Beebe does not come off very well.

What I don’t understand, and there is a lot, is why the big 3 have been so slow to move either BEV or hybrid to a pickup. I would think that would be a natural move for them in that they make the bulk of the profit from pickups. Place the hybrid system from the Fusion Energi into some sort of small pickup and you

Agreed. Just make autonomous driving for the freeway and leave the much more hazardous city driving to the carbon based humans.

That is all true. But, if we could get a subsidy on a solar system along with a battery storage that would go a long way to solving the problem. I know there are many places that don’t get a lot of sun, but I don’t think we need to fix every problem with one stroke. Pick a problem, fix it, and move on to the next.

Two things.

But I walked out of the theater last night knowing that this was the best racing movie I’d ever seen”  Wait, better than Renny Harlin’s Driven?

But will my “Fuel Shark” work in this?

If you haven’t done so yet, do yourself a favor and read “Go Like Hell” by A.J. Baime and watch the 24 Hour War by Adam Carolla.  Both are excellent.  In related news, the book by Baime was optioned for this movie and was set to star Tom Cruise, but they let the rights laps and then made it without paying the author

I have an older guy I coach with who graduated from Cal in the early 70's. He is always bringing up words that seem to be used to gloss over events. His first word was “luck”. He told me that there is no such thing as luck in that there is an unpredictability in the universe and luck is just the way of rationalizing

This project seemed to try and cut the corner, but got handed justice in the form of Hero Rock.

Nope.  I only buy used vehicles that have flat depreciation curves.  I own a 08 Sequoia and a 07 Solstice both of which I bought in the past year.
