This really smells of the problem Kodak had with digital photography. They were so entrenched in the film and processing business that when the digital wave came they could not pivot enough. They made digital cameras, that were pretty good, and picture kiosks, but they just could not adapt fast enough.  Seems like the

So in terms of grip: The WRX STI S209 on one end of the spectrum and this car on another:

Not realizing profit is not the same as losing money.

You think it’s hard for you, try being 50. Socks match the car. WTF

After the bean counters and safety guys get their hands on the vehicle hopefully it won’t turn into this.

A little glitchy dog...

My statement was what the temp workers get.  And GM will eventually want to move in that direction, either by getting rid of benefits or only hiring temps.

This exactly.  I can’t go out calling myself Richard Widecock “Defending Mr. Olympia”.  The Turbo name for an BEV is STOOPID.

The big thing is healthcare. When a premium for a family of 4 costs $1,000 a month, and that’s with lousy coverage, you need the employer to cover or have a high paying job. The temp workers don’t have either and the union employees are looking at the same fate.  The future looks pretty bleak.

Translation:  It’s gooderer.  Or, more gooderer.

I think he stared down this road with good intentions, but now is too proud to say he was wrong. Doubling down on the incorrect take makes him seem even dumer. (misspelled on purpose).

I just dropped my son off at college (Fremont CA to Riverside). The trip was 415 miles. Another family drove a Tesla S and we drove our Sequoia. My trip was one stop in Lebec on the way down for gas that cost $80.00 and took 6:45 total. The other family stopped twice (Harris ranch and Lebec) and took them 7:25. The

Additionally, the coalition alleges Tesla pulled a “bait and switch” with the Model 3 when it advertised a $35,000 version and then tried to get buyers who’d put down deposits to buy a more expensive option.”

Whitewalls, really.  And I also don’t know about the chrome side mirror caps.

Holy crap, you can get these for 9K off.  There is a fully loaded one near me for $24,800.  Might be time to upgrade from the C-Max.

Go to the Chevy vehicles page and when you enter the electric car page it only shows the Bolt and Volt.  Go to the Malibu page and it only mentions hybrid when you get down to the MPG section.  Another bullseye GM.  Well done.

Wiesmann, a small car maker that makes everything by hand and only uses the finest components. I think they already do this over at McLaren, or Ferrari, or Lamborghini, or Aston Martin, or Bentley, or Rolls Royce, or Koenigsegg. Enjoy bankruptcy. And I usually blindly follow these guys thinking they will succeed.

Seems to have found it’s path to oblivion.

They are worried about rolling back MPG standards when the entire industry is moving to BEV.  Seems about right.
