Now that CGI is really coming of age and the R rating has been unwrapped, is there any talk about producing a live-action/CGI movie in the Heavy Metal universe?

Does anyone else have this strange desire to find some likely-to-be-dug-up-in-the-next-25-years location and bury a terminator robot there?

Not hero-based, but the same atmosphere exists within I,Robot, with humanity as it’s own antagonist, the cop as the keystone of the two with rugged individualism winning out, and the robots as the power and responsibility of the state.
